Our Client is a respected, global manufacturing organization, supplying their patented cutting tool and welding equipment to the oil and gas, power generation, chemical manufacturers and municipal utility industries.
We are exclusively recruiting for a Technical Outside Sales professional for the geographic region of central Ontario from the 404 west to Windsor.
Minimum 7 years of full cycle sales, selling industrial heavy tools preferably in a welding supply or valves/fittings supply background.
Outstanding relationship-building abilities with demonstrated experience supplying at a multi-million dollar project-based level to all size organizations as well as, the Ontario power generation sites.
Mechanical and technical aptitude to present and physically ‘demo’ sizeable equipment to Engineers and senior level Project Managers.
- Ontario West from 404 to Windsor area selling ‘branded’ product lines of cutting tools, and welding equipment
- Strategic sales execution into new markets, new business developent and drive organic growth
- Superior time-management and organizational skills, working from a home-office with regular daily travel to Customer sites and business centres for both Account Management support and new Business Development.
- Provide activity reports, quotations and co-ordinate technical support resources to Cdn H.O.
Key Competencies & ‘Must Haves’:
Post-Secondary degree or diploma – preferably business or CT mechanical engineering
Proven sales track record in a similar industry
70% travel within Ontario with periodic US travel to company HQ
