Role: Outside Sales Representative

Status: Permanent – Hybrid

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Responsibilities:

  • Prospects potential customers, including cold calling and developing leads through referral channels
  • Enacts and expands upon assigned customer account plans in alignment with management
  • Enhances billing margin initiatives via value added services, marketing programs and supplier engagement
  • Liaises regularly customers and leads to offer a tailored product to assist their service needs whilst demonstrating the functionality of service to assist
  • Assures customer satisfaction via ongoing customer liaisons and relationship management whilst resolving post-sales enquiries
  • Communicates effectively with existing and previous customers, proactively promoting new products and services
  • Develops and grows product knowledge and supplier training, whilst using effectively using sales management tools
  • Builds effective professional relationships with suppliers, including performing regular combined sales calls
  • Offers quotations directly or in collusion with our sales support team

Qualifications:

  • High school degree or Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Engineering or related field preferred
  • 2+ years industry experience
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop, prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/services
  • Team player, strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
  • Ability to travel to current and potential clients and suppliers
