Role: Operations Administrator
Status : Permanent
Location: Hamilton, ON
Responsibilities:
- Drive operational excellence in all administrative functions
- Maintain all areas of internal audit in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Reconcile purchase orders, inventory, bank statements, inventory controls, credit card orders, backlog files, vendor payments/status, returns and error reports
- Manage the health and safety programs
- Lead the inventory control procedures, maintaining inventory files, updating and generating reports, reconciling inventory accounts, coordinating inventory repairs, assisting in product cycle counting, and controlling all non-confirming products
- Resolve service issues by recording customer complaints, reporting issues to management and recommending appropriate corrective/preventive action
- Direct all general administrative procedures as assigned by management including data entry, equipment identification and service
- Direct all compliance procedures and customer service levels
Qualifications:
- Administrative experience is required
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (exceptional Excel skills required)
- Proficiency in CRM/ERP systems is an asset
- Keen administrative and clerical acumen, policies, procedures and system skills
- Ability to work with others and explain / teach appropriate policies, and practices effectually
