**Actively Hiring Millwrights for a February Start date **

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) with strong troubleshooting experience to join our growing team in the Niagara/ Burlington/Hamilton/Stoney Creek and Fort Erie areas.

As an Industrial Mechanic 433a, you will be responsible for a diverse range of contractual service work, primarily servicing the Steel and Food Industries.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Starting Wage: $42-45 -Per Hour – Based on experience.

As an Industrial Mechanic, you will:

·Complete various repairs on machines and equipment, including new project installations and modifications to meet customer requirements.

·Work on a variety of machinery, both old and new.

Skills and Experience Required:

·High school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12).

·Completion of a four-year Industrial Mechanic Apprenticeship in the Steel or Food Industry is preferred.

·Valid Industrial Mechanic Ticket (433A) preferred, OR a minimum of 5 years of experience as a millwright.

·Proficiency in reading blueprints, following schematics, and procedures.

·Detailed knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.

·Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment controlled by a PLC.

·Basic hoisting and rigging knowledge.

·Ability to learn, detect, and troubleshoot abnormalities and malfunctions in machinery.

·Fundamentals of welding with the capability of stick welding in a limited role.

·Experience in torch cutting, grinding, and heat-treating metals.

·Ability to repair and build machines or components to prescribed tolerances.

·Strong communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.

·Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

·Possession of a valid “G” class license with the province of Ontario and personal transportation.

·Commitment to working in a safe and controlled environment.

·Ability to work from heights.

·Basic knowledge of the Health and Safety Act and awareness of fundamental regulations applicable to the work.

Other Related Courses (Preferred):

·Working at Heights Certificate.

·First Aid & CPR Certificate.

·Forklift Certificate.

·Aerial Lift/Elevated Working Platform Certificate.
