Our client based in Kitchener Ontario, has an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Material Handler to join the team. Be part of one of the largest Distribution & Warehousing groups in Canada & the US

Functions & Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES (SQF code requirements)

·Inbound Receiving

·Responsible for accurately applying LPN labels to pallets for all inbound receiving

·Outbound Picking/ Loading

·Forklift Operation

·Accurate scanning of all inbound/outbound loads, based on customer SOP

·Execution of Sanitation SOP and Facility Maintenance; includes daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual sanitation tasks

·Report any issues/ concerns regarding visitors/ drivers or sanitation/ facility maintenance to the Lead Hands and/or Warehouse Supervisor

·Follow direction of Lead Hand and/or Warehouse Supervisor for daily tasks

·Other warehouse duties as delegated by Warehouse Leads and Supervisors

·Forklift Certification (stacking experience ideal)

·Ability to work in fast-paced environment

·Ability to work on a team and follow direction from leads

·Attention to detail, especially when scanning and receiving

·Growth mindset – want to learn new things within the Operation

·Ambition – great quality, we like to promote internally and have progression plans, based on performance, for our employees

·Positive Attitude

Qualifications—Skills and Competencies:

·High school Diploma

·Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite, word, excel etc..

·HCCAP Knowledge & Training an Asset

·Detail oriented with the ability to read drawings and data

·Forklift Certificate Reach Truck & Counterbalance
