Marketing Specialist – Retail Fixtures/Marketing

Our client, one of the largest and most reputable retail fixture manufacturers in Canada, is looking to hire a hands-on Marketing Specialist to support the sales/marketing activities of two busy divisions. This role will involve market research, content development, and the overall marketing coordination of material delivery and trade show organization.

Job Duties

  • Attend client meetings to collect pertinent information in order to develop product, materials and content
  • Collect and manage materials/proposals in collaboration with the sales and engineering teams
  • Perform market research
  • Develop and design content for marketing materials
  • Support and edit content related websites
  • Plan and execute trade shows and events in conjunction with sales department
  • Manage email marketing campaigns

What you need

  • Expert use of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, SolidWorks
  • Prior experience conducting Market Research with the goal of understanding product and target audience
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Team-oriented attitude
  • University degree in Marketing/Advertising, Communications or PR
  • 5 years related work experience
