Manual Machinist

Our client, a leading Manufacturing company in the Aerospace industry located in Concord is looking to hire a CNC Machinist with Manual Machine Expertise to start immediately.

Your tasks as the CNC Machinist:

• Recent manual lathe experience (turning, threading, tapers, etc.)
• Ability to do high tolerance reworks on parts that are close to finish
• Manual mill experience an asset
• CNC lathe experience an asset.
• Accurate use of measuring tools (inside and outside micrometers)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, tables and other written instructions.
• Analyze and interpret drawings with GD+T
• Work within tight tolerances + -.0005
• Other duties as assigned

The required qualifications of the CNC Machinist:

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• CNC machinist Certificate in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent
• 10 years’ experiences in a precision machining environment – preferably Aerospace.
• Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
• Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Good Interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
• Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills
• Able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Strong work ethic and highly motivated
• Well organized, strong written & verbal communication skills
