Manager Of Operations

Role: Manger of Operations

Status: Permanent

Location: North Bay, ON

Responsibilities:

• Ensure order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, while managing working capital in accordance with operational goals and inventory and quality management systems.
• Responsible for site management, including various warehouse management systems and value-added services for customers, while maintaining a safe and secure workplace
• Performance management analysis, onboarding, coaching, mentoring and training staff
• Adheres to compliance measures with alignment to policies, procedures, and audit standards (ISO 9000)
• Manage expense-based P&L report, whilst driving efficiencies using LEAN methodologies
• Ensure site facilities are ready to be visited
• Responsible for the proper operation of facilities and all equipment
• Ensure alignment with company strategy and accurately define customer expectations, understanding supply and demand metrics
• Liaise with other support departments such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Finance and HR as required
• Contribute to the development of the institution’s annual budget

Qualification:

• High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of operations experience, particularly in distribution centers, preferred
• Experience managing a group or team of individual employees and/or indirect supervision of support staff
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to communicate effectively in a group setting and individually
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong sense of urgency
