Maintenance Electrician

Fuze HR Solutions is currently interviewing Red Seal Electricians for a rewarding opportunity with an excellent company in the Abbotsford, BC area. As the Maintenance Electrician you will be responsible for the following day to day duties…

• Maintaining equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, install and maintain industrial equipment (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic)
• Complete preventative maintenance duties
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC controlled machinery
• Respond to equipment failures and take appropriate actions
• Participate and conduct production line start up procedures
• At times will use scissor lift and/or boom lifts
• Work with other departments to coordinate maintenance duties to minimize disruptions to production
• Other duties as required

What are we looking for in an ideal candidate?

• Red Seal Electrician license
• 4 or more years of relevant experience
• Strong preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair experience of industrial machinery/equipment
• Capable of repairing/troubleshooting/maintaining electrical, PLC;s, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic based equipment
• PLC troubleshooting and programming experience an asset
