Fuze HR is currently looking for Logistics Team Leader for one of our client in Brampton – Steeles and Mississauga Road

Position reports to: Logistics Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

In accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), the Logistics Team Leader is responsible for supporting inventory control, logistics related maintenance, material handling, shipping and receiving.

DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists Logistics Supervisor in managing the logistics staff and activities with the safety, quality, efficiency and output target.
  • Provides leadership, coaching and motivation to Logistics Team Members.
  • Assists with and acts as backup for Logistics Supervisor with all shipping, receiving, occupancy and warehouse duties.
  • Pick Orders and line material issuance.
  • Inventory Management / responsible to support monthly inventory counts as needed
  • Adeptly use Pack Manager system as per requirement.
  • Completes records accurately and completely, including all paperwork in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Adheres to GMP guidelines.
  • Assist Logistics Supervisor with identifying problems from inventory records and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Performs cycle count inventory as required.
  • Assist to ensure the facility housekeeping and maintenance schedule is followed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Familiar with computer inventory systems, data entry and completing documents i.e. BoL, Pack Slips and Pick Slips
  • English reading, writing and has basic math skills. Certified Lift Truck Operator, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Nova Pack Standard Operating Procedures
  • MS Office, Pack Manager and/or comfort with ERP/WMS systems

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

WALKING: May be required to perform 2-3 hours per shift

STANDING: May be required to perform less than 1 hour per shift

SITTING: May be required to perform 6-7 hours per shift

LIFT FLOOR TO WAIST: Required 2-3 hours per shift not consecutive up to 10kg.

LIFT WAIST TO SHOULDER: Required 2-3 hours per shift not consecutive up to 10kg.

STAIR CLIMBING: May be required, up to 6 steps

ABILITY TO USE HANDS: required to Hold; Grip; type; write

REPETITIVE MOVEMENTS AND EXPOSURE(Requirements, Repetitive movements and Exposures are measured based on an 8 hour shift.)BENDING or TWISTING

  • Back: able to bend and twist Back 3 – 4 hours per shift but not repetitive
  • Neck: able to bend and twist Neck 3 – 4 hours per shift but not repetitive
  • Wrist: able to bend and twist Wrist 3 – 4 hours per shift but not repetitive
  • Waist: able to bend and twist Waist 3 – 4 hours per shift but not repetitive
