Logistics Coordinator

Part of the Customer Service Team, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that goods are delivered to customers in a safe, efficient, and timely manner, and in accordance with all the company’s operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate delivery and pick-up operations.
  • Coordinate special delivery requests.
  • Export shipments to USA and Overseas destinations. (customs)
  • Review and handle any transport related issues or claims.
  • Communicate with various stakeholders (customers, carriers, distribution team) regarding transport arrangements.
  • Communicate any changes in delivery plans to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide front-line support to customer service and operations teams.
  • Modify load plans (increase or decrease as needed).
  • Coordinate special requests (delivery below maximum, change of pallet height, change of delivery window, delivery by truck with elevator, pallet truck requests, return of empty pallets, etc.).
  • Update invoices in the system.
  • Generate reports.
  • Other related tasks.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in the field
  • Customer service experience
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Planning and organization skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good computer skills, particularly with Excel.
  • Experience in manufacturing industry (an asset)
