Logistics Coordinator

Part of the Customer Service Team, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that goods are delivered to customers in a safe, efficient, and timely manner, and in accordance with all the company’s operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate delivery and pick-up operations.
- Coordinate special delivery requests.
- Export shipments to USA and Overseas destinations. (customs)
- Review and handle any transport related issues or claims.
- Communicate with various stakeholders (customers, carriers, distribution team) regarding transport arrangements.
- Communicate any changes in delivery plans to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide front-line support to customer service and operations teams.
- Modify load plans (increase or decrease as needed).
- Coordinate special requests (delivery below maximum, change of pallet height, change of delivery window, delivery by truck with elevator, pallet truck requests, return of empty pallets, etc.).
- Update invoices in the system.
- Generate reports.
- Other related tasks.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in the field
- Customer service experience
- Able to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
- Detail-oriented.
- Planning and organization skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer skills, particularly with Excel.
- Experience in manufacturing industry (an asset)
