Leasing Consultant

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Term: Permanent Full-time

Must be willing to work on site during shifts.

The Leasing Consultant assists our prospective residents in their quest for rental accommodations, providing a best-in-class customer experience.

In this role, you will:

• Respond to all rental inquiries from prospective residents by telephone, email and site guests.

• Enters all possible leads in ERP system to ensure that traffic data and reporting are complete and accurate

• Manage customer interactions through the Leasing process

• Conduct discovery interviews with prospective residents at first point of contact to determine their requirements and promote available products that meets their needs

• Escort potential residents through the property, potential suites, and amenity areas

• Convey a sense of interest and urgency and invite prospective residents to complete an application to lease

• Successfully probe barriers and overcomes objections

• Complete Tenancy Documentation

• Facilitate the Tenancy Renewal process

• Collaborate with the property operations team to ensure properties and vacant suites are “show ready” at all times

• Collaborate with the marketing and revenue management teams in order to optimize use of media, trends, use of advertising channels, demographics

• Supports team goals; objectives, operations and strategy for properties outlined by management;

• Perform all facets of the job in accordance with the legislation applicable to the jurisdiction, including: Conduct regular comparison shopping with local competitors

• Meet or exceeds monthly rental targets

• Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma is required. Post-secondary education in a sales or marketing discipline would be considered an asset.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of residential sales experience
