Role: IT Business Analyst – E-Commerce
Status: Permanent
Location: Laval. QC – Hybrid/ Mississauga (Remote)
Responsibilities:
Elicit, analyze, document, prioritize and validate business requirements and model current and target processes
Document the functional requirements
Diagnose the processes and ways of doing things
Coordinate business requirements
Be responsible for investigating issues and testing product improvements throughout the life cycle
Participate in work related to the evaluation of change requests and their impacts
Ensure traceability between the solution and the business needs expressed
Configure the different modules of the product
Participate in the follow-up and perform the tests related to the configuration activities of third-party applications by external partners integrated into the product
Perform and document scenarios and results of unit, integrated, regression and E2E tests following the improvements made
Support the role of super users
Manage documentation for the applications under his/her responsibility throughout their life cycle
To work procedures (user guide, job aids)
Business process diagrams (BPD)
Master Business Process List (MBPL)
Contribute, if required, to the realization of requests related to the technological infrastructure with the team responsible for processing these requests
Participate in the realization of certain special projects
Contribute to the review and implementation of practices and processes in effect in the IT department
Support the team with daily IT needs and help optimize IT business processes
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in the field
- University degree in computer science or equivalent
- Online order management software (major asset)
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Bilingualism (French and English, oral and written)
- Mastery of organizational process analysis methods
- Master the SCRUM method
- Knowledge of data modeling concepts and techniques
- Knowledge of integrated systems development and implementation methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple files at once
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team, under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Negotiation skills
