Seeking an individual to develop new business for consulting and brokerage services, through actively prospecting. This individual should be self-motivated, driven and goal oriented. Responsibilities (but not limited to)
- Cold calling to develop new prospects
- Book and hold initial meetings and follow up sales meetings (Meetings held with a Sr. Manager)
- Work closely with office Managers and Account Executives to ensure prospects and clients are taken care of
- Manage all aspects of the client relationship. This includes all administration of the account and handling all communication with the insurance suppliers.
- Submit specifications to quote
- Liaise with the customers and the clients.
- Attend off-site meetings.
- Minimum 3 years of Inside/Outside Sales and Cold Calling experience
- Knowledge in group benefits (an asset)
- Professional demeanor and presentation
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- MUST have valid driver’s license and vehicle
- Ability to work under little to no supervision
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- Driven and Motivated demeanor.
