The Informatica Administrator will be responsible for:
- Support and enhance the Information Security Management System, including critical processes like Risk Management, Audit and Assessment, Monitoring, Reporting, and Record Management.
- Ensure the availability and efficiency of the Informatica platform by handling installation, security, upgrades, and monitoring. Also, manage ETL projects, data connectors, and server performance while troubleshooting issues.
- Provide training and support to ITS development teams and business areas.
- Lead the prompt resolution of technical issues related to Informatica.
- Administer Informatica security to safeguard data and access.
- Foster relationships with the Informatica vendor, ensuring software updates, licensing, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with Linux and DBA Administrators to optimize performance, upgrades, and archive strategies.
- Develop and document policies and procedures for Informatica processes while maintaining data profiles and system architecture documentation.
The required qualifications for the Informatica Administrator are:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, specifically in Oracle and AWS data lake environments, with at least 3 years dedicated to Informatica Administration.
- Proficiency in a range of Informatica products, including DEI, EDC, Axon, MDM, and IDQ, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of their functionalities.
- Hands-on experience in managing Informatica server and cluster, covering tasks such as installation, configuration, performance optimization, upgrades, and the application of patches and hotfixes.
- Proven expertise in Informatica security administration, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and managing access.
- Strong command of SQL, encompassing both programming and query optimization.
- Robust background in application development, showcasing the ability to design and create effective solutions.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, capable of addressing complex issues efficiently.
- Willingness to work outside standard hours, including weekends and on-call duties when necessary.
