Our fast-growing client specializes in the environmental and centrifugal industry and is actively seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead and manage following key HR Programs for their Canadian & American locations. The candidate must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills as well as a proven track record of success in the insurance agency. We’re looking for a professional with a keen interest in furthering client interaction and developing a roster of accounts over the next several years.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration)
  • Experience in senior HR positions in both operational and strategic domains (minimum 5 years)
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to operationalize plans into action
  • Advanced computer skills in a Microsoft Windows Environment
  • Ability to understand and appropriately prepare for/respond to changing operating context to deliver the necessary workforce capability and capacity
  • Sound knowledge of contemporary HR practices and legislation
  • Ability to identify strengths and areas for improvement to develop others
  • Change management including managing diversity and influencing outcomes
