Responsibilities:

  • End-user support (OS Windows 10, Office 2019)
  • Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
  • Installing and configuring software& hardware on the client laptops and reimaging new systems
  • Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
  • Set up employee accounts and workstations

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist.
  • Professional experience working with Python and SQL.
  • Strong background in math and have an analytical mindset.
  • Passionate about algorithm-based optimization problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Familiar with big data platforms would be considered an asset (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Hadoop).
  • Familiarity or experience with machine learning algorithms would be considered an asset.
  • Familiar or experience with Tensorflow, Pytorch or Matplotlib, would be considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 3-5 years minimum work experience in a large network
  • Knowledge of O/S Windows 10 & Office 2019
  • Knowledge of Cisco switches (basic)
  • A keen propensity towards security is a must
  • Knowledge of Cisco VOIP is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of MS Dynamics is considered an asset
  • Willingness to learn and must be an independent learner
  • MUST have good communication skills and good command of the English language
  • MUST have good customer service skills
  • Ability to work well with others and follow instructions
