CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A HEALTH AND SAFETY COORDINATOR!!!

Our client, a very well-established Contractor in the ICI marketplace is looking to bring on a Health and Safety Coordinator to their team. The company is a well known, employee owned company that would be classified as mid to large sized. They offer competitive salary’s, great benefits, RRSP matching and excellent growth opportunities. Some of their employees have been working with them for 30+ years.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Working with Safety Department to promote safety culture and assist with preparing and implementing plans and procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of Health and Safety experience with a Construction company. Health & Safety Certifications and COR Auditing training would be an asset. Candidate must possess a valid G driver license

  • Conduct safety inspections and audits
  • Write, review and implement safe work plans and job procedures
  • Write hazard assessments
  • Coordinate subcontractor safety documents
  • Provide safety support to an assigned or multiple project
