MACHINE SHOP – HOLDER FINISHER

Interprets drawing, production order, and work instruction requirements.

Tools:

Hydrostatic test stand, spot welder, deburr, pedestal grinder, Vernier caliper, thread gages, Surface finish equipment, tape measure.

Pay: $21.50 per hour

Shift Times: Days 6:45am – 3:15pm

Key Responsibilities:

·Represent the company in a professional manner and adhere to all plant and safety rules.

·Display a health and safety-oriented mentality

·Basic understanding of manufacturing processes

·Understanding of all holder assembly types and their variants, holder assembly quality

·

·requirements, and be able to assemble holders to customer order requirements.

·Organize and prioritize production orders, components and assemblies to the PHS scheduler.

·Ability to follow work instructions, Understanding and operating PHS order scheduling system.

·Setup and operation of hydrostatic test stand, various part marking devices, spot welder

·Familiarity with all holder components, holder component quality requirements holder component inventory

·Capable of training new finishers.

·High attention to detail

·Inspect drawing specifications using basic measuring instruments such as height gages,

·

·micrometers, and calipers

·Interprets drawing, production order, and work instruction requirement.

·Itermediate computer literacy skills

·Attend all required meetings and training opportunities

·Communicate with supervisor and colleagues in a professional manner.

·Maintain excellent attendance with the ability to work overtime when required.

·Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

·Strong verbal and written communication

·Contribute towards a positive work environment
