General Labour / Production (rotational) – Grimsby – $22-$25/hour

We are currently seeking 4 General Laborer’s / production workers to join our team for a large Manufacturer located in Grimsby, Ontario. This exciting opportunity would suit anyone who enjoys working with their hands or if you are looking to learn new skills.

What our client offers

• Continental 12 hour shifts, days and nights – Sunday through Saturday
• Time: 7am to 7pm
• Time: 7pm to 7am
• Salary: $22.00 – $25.00 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Willingness to be flexible to fit into shift openings
• Staff Specific – Specialized Training Provided (Metal Finish/Service Industry)
• Preparing & Inspecting Product for Processing & Post Processing Inspection
• Start & Stop Equipment/Lubricate Equipment/Maintenance of Equipment
• Accurately Record Data
• Read & Print Legible/Effective Communication
• Physical Labour/Lift 25-50 Lbs/Housekeeping Duties
• Ability to work over-time if needed
• Use of a broom, mop and other cleaning equipment to maintain a safe & clean work area
• Other general labour tasks as required
• No Foul Language/No Contact Lenses/Smoke & Vape Free Property
• Removing product rolls from production line and properly labelling and packing skids.
• Shrink wrap products safely remove skids into holding area.
• Operating the winder of highly automated plastic extrusion lines and packaging equipment ·
• Operation of grinder equipment for grinding scrap material as required ·
• Assisting other operators and the shift leader as required
• Perform job in a safe manner at all times
• Operation of grinder (scrap material) in a safe manner
• Keeping work areas in a safe, clean and orderly condition at all times
• Prepare work area for incoming shift
• Following all safety procedures
• Following all production, quality and maintenance procedures
• Reporting any hazardous condition immediately to the supervisor in line
• Wearing all mandatory Personal Protective Equipment
• Follow any requests made by Shift Leader

Qualifications:
