Financial And Accounting Analyst

Fuze HR Solutions is immediately hiring for a Financial & Accounting Analyst job opening in Peterborough, Ontario. Our client, a leader in electronics, avionics and optronics is looking for an individual to optimize performance by identifying trends and making recommendations. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Finance, Economics or related field (MS degree preferred)
• Proven Experience developing financial models by consolidating ERP data and in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• 5-10 years experience as a financial and accounting analyst
• Strong MS-Excel (including macros), MS-Office and ERP skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning and Forecasting to track and determine financial status
• Optimize productivity by developing automated accounting applications and financial models
• Analysis and interpretation of data to identify trends
• Month-end reconciliations of general ledger account
• Consolidate and analyze financial data
• Improve standard cost models and monitor inventory levels
• Produce financial reporting packages
• Process billings and ensure revenue recognition
• Review financial information and forecasts
• Other duties as assigned

ADDITIONAL NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

• Experience in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills – oral and written
• Knowledge of financial forecasting
• Well informed in current financial subjects
