Our Client in Brampton is looking to hire Permanent Full Time Machine Operators

Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor the Machine Operator is responsible for operating various fabrication machinery safely and efficiently. Utilizing drills, saws, CNC’s, and break presses the machine operator works to meet and exceed production targets safely and with the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate all machines in the Fabrication Department in an effective and cost efficient manner while maintaining good quality and safety standards
  • Check samples periodically and ensure they match first piece sample check
  • Ensure first piece sample is double checked by other plant personnel
  • Ensure material is identified for shape number, work order number and quantity
  • If material is being used from stock, have stock number identified on work order
  • Ensure incoming material is checked for proper length before conducting fabrication
  • Reporting any and all equipment malfunction immediately
  • On-time order completion
  • Comply with all quality related policies, procedures and system requirements
  • All other activities as assigned



  • 1-2 years in machine operations
  • Must be familiar with precision measuring instruments and the ability to read drawings
  • Willing to train


  • Grade 10 with some mechanical aptitude/ machine operator experience
  • Grade 12 would be an asset
