FuzeHR is now hiring a Director of Sales with depth in mining/mineral processing markets to play a critical role in driving sales, relationships, and revenue in Western Canada. The Director of Sales will be responsible for revenue generation and people/process management, so we are specifically looking for candidates who get excited about doing both. If you have been successfully selling to customers in the mining, mineral processing, or aggregates space, know what “flotation” means as it pertains to these markets, and have a passion for driving business and taking sales teams to success, LET’S TALK!

What are the Responsibilities?
- Spearhead sales and business development, drive relationships, orchestrate and close contract negotiations for a global customer base
- Provide marketing and business development for proprietary products (including Flotation equipment & spargers) to clientele in mineral processing industries and related
- Play a key role in the development and execution of business plans and sales strategies in alignment with corporate strategy
- Nurture and grow the Sales Team via effective leadership, training coaching, supervision, and performance management
- Manage sales processes, policies, and procedures, collaborate with other departments and product managers to ensure efficient workflow and growth of the business
- Participate in the creation of accurate, timely, and complex proposals
- Manage budget, reporting and projections – monthly, annual, and long-term
- Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions, collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
- Represent the company professionally at client meetings, tradeshows and conferences & engage audiences with marketing media such as presentations and promotional materials
- Managing a group of sales professionals and back-office to insure that Eriez solutions are known and on the mind of engineering companies, consultants and customers throughout Canada and global territories
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge
- Develop systems and tools to track Requests for Quotations (RFQs), orders, and ensure effective and timely transfer to other departments
What are the Requirements?
- 15+ years of demonstrable sales experience, including at least 5 at leadership level – the more, the better!
- Experience in mining & mineral processing spaces highly desirable – candidates with a background in flotation will be given immediate preference
- Strong leadership skills, ability to rally a team
- Hungry, competitive spirit
- Proven ability to close complex sales
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 30% of the year
- Time management and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding oral & written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to easily develop rapport with and gain trust from others
