Customer Support Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced Customer Support Coordinator to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. The successful candidate must be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task as well as meet multiple deadlines in a timely and efficient manner. The candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a team player attitude and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Remuneration:
- Salary – $55,000 – $60,000/year
- Shift: 8:00am – 4:00pm or 8:30am – 4:30pm
- Benefits after 3 months
- Vacation: 2 – 3 weeks’ vacation negotiable
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensures customer orders are entered with high priority and followed through within requested timelines
- Follows-up with sales reps/customers to ensure purchase order information, including pricing, is accurate for processing
- Communicates out of stocks and requests PO extensions if needed
- Completes ASN’s and PO acknowledgements
- Completes customer invoicing, including EDI invoicing and provides order confirmation copies to sales for incomplete orders
- Issues credits as necessary and investigates shortages and/or discrepancies
- Works with customers to resolve shipping inquiries, order status questions and any issues with high level of urgency
- Works with warehouse team to ensure timeliness and smooth flow of customer orders
- Filing of paid invoices as required
- Provides knowledgeable answers to questions about product, pricing and availability
- Provides backup in areas required and as needed
Experience and Qualifications:
- College Business Diploma and/or 2-3yrs relevant experience an asset
- MS Office proficiency including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience in Sage 300 preferred
- 1 year order desk experience processing orders
- Strong data entry skills; mathematical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
- Must have exceptional follow through skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience within logistics, transport, freight and warehousing is an asset
- CPG experience an asset
- A self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task as well as meet multiple deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
