Your tasks as the Customer Service & Pricing Specialist

·Record and enter customer purchase orders received via phone or email, quickly, accurately, courteously, and professionally.

·Field and respond to inquiries regarding products, service, pricing, lead time, delivery, returns, and complaints.

·Research and resolve customer problems, acting as the customer liaison between other company departments when necessary.

·Inform customers and co-workers of delivery requirements for orders and co-ordinate, if necessary, specific arrangements for deliveries as per the customer’s request.

·Understand and emphasize product features and benefits.

·Review customer inquiries and identify opportunities for upselling.

·Prepare, coordinate, and communicate all quotes, incl. quotation follow-ups with customers and/or Sales.

·Create and maintain all pricing information within SAP

·Maintain accurate pricing in SAP database that is coordinated with daily price adjustments, including setup.

·Work with outside sales, customers, and customer service to solve customer order/price questions and issues.

·Work closely with Finance to ensure pricing is correct at invoicing.

·Maintain market intel to quote jobs in different regions through discussions with customers and outside sales representatives.

·Work closely and effectively with Sales, General Manager, Customer Service Team Lead and National Customer Service Manager to ensure a continuous improvement process within the assigned area of responsibility and to develop ideas and strategies to better service our customers.

·Participate in the company’s quarterly inventory count.

·Maintain a high standard of professional knowledge, ethics and practices when dealing with customers, suppliers, peers, subordinates, supervisors and other key stakeholders of the company.

·Understand, support, and adhere to the company’s health and safety polices, programs and procedures by communicating and promoting health and safety awareness.

The required qualifications of the Customer Service & Pricing Specialist

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Inside Sales (Customer Service, Pricing, Quoting)

· Proficient with Microsoft Office programs specifically, Word, Excel and Outlook with intermediate Excel Skills.

· Experience using SAP within the manufacturing industry.

· Exceptional organizational skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent time management and ability to multi-task.

· High attention to detail

· Bilingual (French fluently).
