Our client is a software company with hardware products that change the way food and crop producers run their businesses. Job Function: The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience working with or in the AgTech/Startup Sector and possess exceptional communication, EQ, analytical and problem solving skills and is comfortable interacting with all levels, including Executive Management, Engineering, Product, Finance, and Marketing leaders and colleagues. Experience working in an operations role in a technology-led organization ideally with an understanding of agricultural related technology and manufacturing. Above all, we are looking for someone who has a proven ability to deliver results, and hit target milestones. Skills & Experience: ● Graduate degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Business, Economics, or another quantitative or technically oriented domains ● 10+ years’ experience with progressive operational responsibilities within technology firms ● Proven P&L management track record ● Experience and success in preparing for, and/or negotiating and closing equity capital raises ● Business line management experience in launching new technology products, and scaling for growth and profitability ● Strong intellectual curiosity, and an ability to synthesize large amounts of technical information ● Managing multiple projects in a manner that focuses on the team and drives results ● Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team Responsibilities: ● Develop, establish, and direct the execution of operating policies to support overall company objectives. ● Interface with Product Engineering and IT to ensure appropriate systems are in place to achieve goals. ● Lead the performance management process that measures and evaluates progress against goals. ● Manage and direct company operations to meet budget and other financial goals. ● Deliver agreed performance within budget. Performance includes P&L, market share, and customer satisfaction targets. ● Assess market priorities and prioritize R&D investments. ● Working in partnership with the management team, board of directors, and implement and improve new processes. ● Lead all internal operational planning and reporting, for the purpose of supporting communication with the Board. ● Oversee contract negotiation and legal activities: client contracts, partnership agreements and vendor contracts, ● Work with the CEO during fundraising activities.
