CNC Machinist

Our client, a manufacturer Elmira, ON is looking for a CNC Machinist for a permanent opportunity. If you have machine operating experience and looking for an organization that is willing to train and develop you, this is the role for you.

• Day shift, Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm

• 28.00/hr + Depending on experience

What are some of the responsibilities of the CNC Machinist:

• Set up and operate CNC machinery

• Load materials and parts onto machinery and monitor process

• Select appropriate tool and accessories for each task

• Inspect parts for quality control and report any missed or incorrect parts

• Work along side experienced CNC operators and learn and develop

• Read blueprints, drawing and specification to ensure machinery is set up correctly

• Other duties assigned by supervisor/mentor and/or leadership

The required qualifications of the CNC Machinist:

• 1+ years of experience in a machine operating

• The willingness and drive to learn new skills

• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)

• The want to be a part of a team

• Experience reading blueprints and engineering drawings
