Our client is looking for a go getter with a background in Payment Systems and tech looking to work for an innovative company

As Business Development Specialist, you will work with our Director of Business Development to develop and translate leads into successful ongoing client relationships. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop networks to generate future business leads;
  • Attend relevant conferences and industry events to develop and foster relationships within specific industries, as well as develop additional leads;
  • Follow-up on inbound leads received and escalate to the Director of Business Development as appropriate;
  • Meet with potential clients for initial and subsequent discussions, including local and international travel as needed;
  • Obtain knowledge of target market through research,
  • Help generate market analytics
  • Provide feedback to be leveraged for figuring out where the business is heading
  • Work with our Director of Business Development to execute business development strategies for various business segments.

Your experience should include the following:

  • Fluency in English
  • Strong English Speaking and Writing
  • 1+ years in the payment, credit or related industry
  • Self-starter who is ready to hit the ground running
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Understanding of Chinese is something that would be an asset but is not required
