Our client is a software company currently seeking an experienced, proactive, and effective Business Development Manager to develop in the UK.

Our client also offers competitive salary, health benefits, paid cellphone expenses and a generous bonus structure!

Due to the time differences, the work hours will be 5:00AM to 1:30PM

As a Business Developer, you will be responsible to promote our platform to retailers and logistics companies, specifically small to medium businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Curate a clear business plan
  • You will have creative control and encouraged to develop your own long-lasting business relationships by building a solid network to your image
  • Generating sales through prospecting activities through networking, cold calling, and customer references
  • Generate your own appointments and/or business opportunities
  • Generate sales through telephone prospecting and visits to potential customers
  • Evaluate customer needs and identify new opportunities
  • Promote our platform and solutions to our customers
  • Perform any other tasks assigned to you by your sales manager
  • Ability to seek out and secure new prospects

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or higher
  • At least 3-4 years of experience
  • Relevant experience in sales of SAAS platforms
  • Comfortable with the use of technology
  • Experience in sales in the logistics industry (a great asset)
  • Ability to work with predetermined goals and sales targets
  • Ability to attract prospects
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency of Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
