Business Development Manager position!
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager at our office in Mississauga, Ontario. The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end sales process of our products. The successful candidate will have great communication skills, be a self starter, personable, able to build relationships with new decision-makers, always be closing and ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Base salary-$60 000
- Performance-based bonus up to 20% per year (+$12K)
- Shift: Monday – Thursday in office – 7:45 am to 4:30 pm

- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners.
- Discovers and explores business opportunities.
- Understanding partners’ needs and goals by building relationships.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Enhances organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
- Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and equipment needs.
- Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
- Partner with sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on-time and as agreed.
- Become a subject matter expert on business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to date on industry news.
- Your job as a business development manager is to identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Prior experience in sales is crucial. This could include a background in business-to-business (B2B) sales, telemarketing, or direct sales. Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets is a significant advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with potential customers over the phone and through other communication channels. The ability to articulate value propositions clearly is key.
- Proven experience in both cold and warm calling is necessary. This involves initiating contact with potential clients who may or may not be familiar with the product or service.
- The ability to work independently and take initiative is crucial. The ideal candidate should be motivated, proactive, and able to set and achieve goals with minimal supervision.
- A strong focus on building and maintaining relationships with customers is vital for long-term success. This involves understanding client needs, addressing concerns, and providing excellent customer service.
- Effective time management and organizational skills are necessary for managing a pipeline of leads, tracking interactions, and ensuring follow-ups are conducted in a timely manner.
- The business landscape can change rapidly. A qualified candidate should be adaptable and able to adjust strategies based on market trends and customer feedback.
- A focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets is crucial. A results-oriented mindset helps in measuring success and adjusting strategies accordingly.
