We are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager, the ideal candidate will have to be able to identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients, while maintaining a good working relationship with new contacts.

As a Business Developer, you will be responsible to promote the company’s platform to retailers and Last-Mile Logistics companies in Quebec and Ontario. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you’ll be expected to derive creative solutions, share constructive criticism and develop long-lasting business relationships.

Tasks:

  • Generate your own appointments and/or business opportunities
  • Generate sales through telephone prospecting and visits to potential customers
  • Evaluate customer needs and identify new opportunities
  • Promote our platform and solutions to our customers
  • Perform any other tasks assigned to you by your sales manager

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills in French and English
  • High School diploma or higher, and a minimum of 3 years experience in an outbound sales position
  • Relevant experience in sales of SAAS platforms
  • Comfortable with the use of technology
  • Experience of sales in the logistics, telecom industry (a great asset)
  • Knowledge of other languages is an asset
  • Valid Driver’s license and personal vehicle required
