Business Development Opportunity in Freighting/Supply Chain Industry
Very lucrative opportunity for a hungry, strategic hunter with experience selling Freight/Supply Chain solutions. Our client, a rapidly growing full service transportation provider in Mississauga, is looking to on-board their next Business Development Associate. In this role, the associate is responsible for procuring and developing new business by selling the company’s various logistical service solutions, which include freighting, cross docking, distribution, supply chain development, etc. A successful candidate in this position can expect to make a high volume of cold calls daily, schedule meetings with prospective clients, develop sales presentations, and manage client accounts.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in freight sales, be comfortable in a metrics-driven environment, possess the ability to up-sell and adapt to different business needs, be comfortable working within a collaborative team, and most importantly – HAVE A HUNGER FOR SALES!
Compensation package will include a base salary and commission on sales, as well as a competitive benefits package and reimbursement on expenses.
