Job Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for all customers of the Ontario Plants.
  • JDE Sales Order entry & maintenance
  • Communicate order production and delivery status to multiple customers
  • Develop and maintain transportation schedule for multiple carriers
  • Communicate transportation schedule to freight carriers and plant warehouse teams
  • Work with plant operations team to develop production schedule based on existing customer orders and customer forecasts for each location
  • Field and acknowledge customer quality complaints, and work with Operation team to facilitate communications on plant findings and resolution.
  • Shipping verification
  • Invoicing verification
  • Generate Credit Memos when needed
  • Monitor the daily Production reports and communicate delays and/or ship dates with customers.
  • Ensure that all customer orders for Ontario are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop process that ensures communication to customers for delays and available to ship on a daily basis.
  • Co-ordinate shipments with carriers and work with customers to consolidate when possible.
  • Initiate the process for customer complaints.
  • Back-up to the Quebec region when required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Post Secondary Education in Business Administration with 3 to 5 years experience in a manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Flexible and self-motivated with strong organizational, detail-oriented, multitasking, and administrative skills.
  • Fluently Bilingual in English and French
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a team, as well as autonomously, as required
  • Coachable; Professional; Flexible schedule; Approachable; Quick learner; and Self-motivated.
  • Good working knowledge and ability to navigate a PC windows environment, including shared drives.
  • Strong skills and experience using Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to learn new software quickly and willingness to continuously develop technology skills.
  • Demonstrates good and safe work habits and have a clean working environment.
