Our client is an up and coming construction company looking for someone familiar with Construction Accounting, great with technology and very hands on. This is a role that can grow into a Senior level position incredibly rapidly.

  • Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures
  • Oversee all accounting and finance processes, A/R, A/P, Payroll and Job Costing
  • Manage cash flow and collections, biweekly payroll as well as client billings
  • Maintain job costing reports and make sure monthly cut offs are timely and accurate
  • Prepare account reconciliations, inter-company transactions, monthly-end financial reports and detailed financial forecasts and analysis
  • Manage compliance with local, provincial, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings, such as monthly/quarterly/annual EHT, HST, WSIB remittances
  • Prepare working papers and assist in the preparation of financial statement review engagements as required by external auditors, and act as a liaison for annual reviews
  • Report to financial institutions & mortgage companies as required
  • CCDC Contracts and insurance are very important to client


  • 4 plus years of experience in a Construction or Real Estate Environment
  • Can do attitude and willingness to hit the ground running
  • Great communication skills
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • Designation is preferred
