Responsibilities:

1. Strong working knowledge in Microsoft .NET Framework, Visual Basic .Net, and C# languages using Visual Studio Integrated Development Environment (IDE).

2. Knowledge of Microsoft Transact SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL.

3. Experience in PLC programming.

4. Knowledge of source control using Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Git.

5. Experience programming automation components, HMI’s, and material handling robots are considered an asset.

6. Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and well as travel and work overtime sometimes at short notice in order to maintain project schedules and adhere to timelines.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook, and the Internet.

8. Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and work under pressure in a multifaceted environment.

9. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-function team with little supervision.

10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to deal courteously and effectively with all levels of staff, the public, customers, partners, and any other potential stakeholders.

11. Problem-solving skills, discretion, and demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment when handling confidential/sensitive information and communicating with customers regarding controversial matters.

12. Effective organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize work to meet customer service standards and deadlines without compromising service.
