We are seeking someone that has experience as an administrative assistant to a payroll department who may assist with entering pay into a payroll software, reviewing timesheets, answering employee questions with regards to their pay:

Administrative payroll assistant

Location: Mississauga, L5T 1K3

Work hours: Schedule is 8-17h

Hourly rate: 23-25$ an hour

Length of mandate: undetermined

Must haves:

  • Experience with a payroll software, entering hours, employee info.
  • Good communication skills in English

Job description:

• Assist in managing the complete payroll process, including data collection, time verification, and salary processing.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and payroll regulations.

• Answer employee questions regarding payroll and provide quality customer service.

• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure smooth integration of payroll data.

• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information.


• Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant in Payroll.

• basic knowledge of payroll-related laws and regulations

• Experience in payroll software and IT tools. *** strong computer skills, has entered information or has exposure to a payroll software from an admin perspective

• good understanding of pay systems

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.
