Accounts Payable (Mississauga)

Fuze HR is currently in search of an Accounts Payable candidate for one of our clients in Mississauga. Our client is a prominent global leader in the design and production of safety, productivity, and environmental control products, serving customers in warehousing, manufacturing, retail, and distribution centers. As the largest manufacturer of loading dock and warehouse equipment, our client’s Canadian division handles all loading dock needs comprehensively. They maintain a comprehensive network of factory-direct offices that engage in selling, distributing, installing, and servicing products across Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare invoices for data entry (including vendor information, coding, price and quantity verification, invoice audit, and entry into JDE).
• Prepare month-end accruals and RNV (Receipts Not Vouchered) reconciliations.
• Address supplier inquiries.
• Prepare and release cheque runs.
• Reconcile vendor statements.
• Manage a paperless system.
• Uphold the company’s operational vision, values, and goals.
• Participate in training and other team activities to support continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or their designee.
• Adapt to reasonable changes in duties when required.

Qualifications:

• Ability to adapt and maintain performance in a changing work environment.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with JDE (JD Edwards) is desirable.
• Proficiency in keyboard skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective conflict management and the ability to foster good team and inter-department relations.
• High school diploma (Grade 12).
