Your tasks as the Accounting & Finance Manager:

  • Responsible for managing a team of 3-4
  • Responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
  • Managing cash flow, forecasting and financial reporting
  • Overseeing accounts payable and receivable
  • Direct the preparation of tax returns and filing including GST/HST, US sales taxes, corporate taxes, recycling fees etc.
  • Process improvements

·Other duties as assigned

The required qualifications of the Accounting & Finance Manager:

  • College diploma or university degree in accounting and Finance
  • CPA designation
  • ERP experience required and Intermediate excel
  • Minimum of 6 years experience and 4 in a leadership role
  • Experience developing effective digital marketing plans
  • Up to date financial knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to multi-task and manage a tight timeline in a dynamic and high-volume exciting environment
