Fuze HR Solutions is immediately hiring for a contract Accounting Clerk job opening in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Our client, a division of the Province of Nova Scotia is looking for an individual to support accounting tasks for 3 months, with the potential for this to be extended. Are you someone who has experience with SAP? Then this amazing opportunity is for you!

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma
  • Accepted training in Accounting
  • 3 years experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Proficient in the use of Procurement Module of SAP

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performance of General Accounting, financial and budgetary analysis
  • Maintenance and review of departmental accounting systems, revenue and expenditure records
  • Preparation of various financial and statistical statements
  • Reconciliation and balancing of accounts
  • Opening and closing entries
  • Other duties as assigned
