Job Description

A stable retail wholesale company in the Saint-Laurent of Montreal looking for part-time accounting staff for the head office, for the first time in many years, as their current staff are nearing retirement!

We are expecting you to work for around 20 hours every week. The hours can be 10am – 2pm with felcxibility depends on your schedule.

This company has an amazing work environment, very pleasant and nice energy, with no overtime! The office environment is English, with the majority of clients are in anglophone, but a function level of french is needed for Quebec clients.

They are looking for candidates who would like a stable long-term part-time career in:

Accounts Receivable

  • Creating bills and invoices
  • Sending out invoices to clients
  • Entering payments
  • Sending out payment reminders by email and phone
  • Reaching out for overdue payments
  • Reconciliations of the receivables to make sure all payments were accounted for properly
  • Work on any discrepancies
  • Month-end closing
  • Managing paperwork
  • Helping with general administrative tasks
