Our client, a construction and property management company in the Brampton area is looking for an Accounts Payable for a year contract with the possibility of extending. · Full-time hours – Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm- Flexible

Your tasks as an Account Payable:

· Sort, get approval and post monthly AP invoices

· Sort and post weekly payables, i.e. utilities and small scale vendors

· Maintain supplier files and answer supplier’s questions

· Filing of invoices

· Assist Controller in obtaining the information requested by auditors during YE season

· Back up staff in other departments like our client sister company., assist in matching up packing slips to invoices

· Ensure accuracy and proficiency of all invoices Provide telephone support

· Assist in distributing cheques to vendors

· All other duties required by management

The required qualifications:

·3-5 years of Full-cycle Accounting

·Previous experience in property management an asset

·College diploma or University degree an asset

·Knowledge of accounting software, the client uses Jonas but will train

· Excellent communication skills (read, write and spoken)
