Our client, a global, manufacturing leader of specialty commercial fabrics, has an immediate opening for an Account Manager to join their team.

Backed by 75+ years of growth, continuous manufacturing investment in their leading-edge products and technology, this specialty ‘niche’ division creates artwork made with ‘eco-friendly’, sustainable products, processes and a compelling relevancy to our rapidly evolving business landscapes and commercial design trends.

What our Client offers:

• $70,000 to $75,000.00 annual salary with commission

Your tasks as the Account Manager:

·Responsible for Outside and Inside Sales

·Communicating effectively with clients to gather necessary details of a project for pricing, production planning and expectation setting, etc

·Being the main point of contact for common questions from Designers, Architects and Contractors

·Ensuring project details are compatible with production processes (particularly with custom orders)

·Educating clients on product details and installation best-practices

·Networking and relationship building through cold reach-outs (email/phone) to prospective clients – you will receive a generous amount of guidance and support in this at

·Travel to client sites for Eastern Canada and New York

·Other Duties as required

The required qualifications of the Account Manager:

·Minimum 3-5 years of work experience

·Post-secondary education in design/architecture/construction field an asset

·Customer service experience

·Sales experience is preferred

·Skilled in basic mathematics (arithmetic, conversions/units of measure, percentages, margins)

·Construction/Design/Architectural Industry experience is an asset

·Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as outstanding written and oral communication skills

·Self-motivated and organized

·Tech savvy

·Driver’s license and reliable vehicle

·Valid passport to travel overseas and to the US
