Production Supervisor, Industrial Manufacturing | Windsor (Tecumseh) | 7.30am \u2013 4.30pm<\/div>\n

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS<\/div>\n
    \n
  1. Post-secondary in skilled trades, engineering, or related field preferred<\/li>\n
  2. Trade certification considered an asset; OHSA knowledge required<\/li>\n
  3. Minimum 3 years leadership experience<\/li>\n
  4. Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in heavy industrial or automotive manufacturing only (food industry not applicable)<\/li>\n
  5. Hands-on, collaborative, team-focused management style<\/li>\n
  6. Citizenship or PR or Open work permit valid for another year<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:<\/div>\n
      \n
    1. Manual & CNC machining knowledge<\/li>\n
    2. Machine building practices<\/li>\n
    3. Hydraulic press & stamping equipment knowledge<\/li>\n
    4. Blueprint reading \/ basic AutoCAD<\/li>\n
    5. Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, lubrication systems understanding<\/li>\n
    6. Maintenance and production supervision experience<\/li>\n
    7. Forklift & overhead crane operation (or willingness to be trained)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      RESPONSABILITIES<\/div>\n
      \u00b7 Supervise production employees and oversee daily shop floor operations while supporting hands-on production activities as required.<\/div>\n
      \u00b7 Ensure staff have the necessary tools, materials, and resources to complete work efficiently and meet production deadlines.<\/div>\n
      \u00b7 Support achievement of customer requirements, quality standards, and on-time delivery goals.<\/div>\n
      \u00b7 Work with Executive, Engineering, and management teams to review project status and resolve production issues.<\/div>\n
      \u00b7 Develop, improve, and monitor product and process quality standards in collaboration with the Quality Engineer.<\/div>\n
      \u00b7 Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives across production processes and workflows.<\/div>\n
      \u00b7 Support HR in coordinating training programs for apprentices and new employees.<\/div>\n
      \u00b7 Communicate manpower requirements, scheduling needs, overtime, and shift coverage with HR and Project Managers.<\/div>\n
      \u00b7 Ensure all workplace incidents and accidents are properly reported, investigated, and documented according to company procedures and HR requirements.<\/div>\n
      \u00b7 Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and disciplinary processes as required.<\/div>\n
      \u00b7 Monitor employee performance and support productivity, efficiency, and quality expectations.<\/div>\n
      \u00b7 Maintain and enforce product and process quality standards for finished goods and sub-assemblies.<\/div>\n
      \u00b7 Assist in the preparation and maintenance of production and performance reports.<\/div>\n
      \u00b7 Recommend and support maintenance, upgrades, and improvements to equipment and facility processes.<\/div>\n
      \u00b7 Enforce all health and safety policies in accordance with company manuals, the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act, Employment Standards Act, and internal policies.<\/div>\n
      \u00b7 Manage time effectively, maintain strong internal and external relationships, and demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and accountability.<\/div>\n
      DETAILS<\/div>\n

      1. Reporting Manager: Executive<\/li>\n
      2. DAY: 7:00 AM \u2013 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday)<\/li>\n
      3. EVENING: As required by production\/projects<\/li>\n
      4. NIGHT: As required by production\/projects<\/li>\n
      5. OVERTIME: Paid<\/li>\n
      6. BENEFITS (after 3 months): Dental, medical, vision coverage<\/li>\n
      7. RRSP: Matching up to $2,000<\/li>\n
      8. SICK DAYS: 3 days<\/li>\n
      9. EQUIPMENT PROVIDED: Safety boots, overalls, safety glasses<\/li>\n
