What you\u2019ll be doing:<\/div>\n
\n- Managing accounts payable and receivable processes<\/li>\n
- Preparing and posting journal entries<\/li>\n
- Performing bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations<\/li>\n
- Supporting month-end close and financial reporting<\/li>\n
- Assisting with tax filings including HST\/GST, QST, and payroll remittances<\/li>\n
- Working closely with leadership to support reporting and improve processes<\/li>\n
- Helping identify ways to make accounting workflows more efficient<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
What they\u2019re looking for:<\/div>\n
\n- 3+ years of accounting experience in a similar role<\/li>\n
- Post-secondary education in accounting<\/li>\n
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with accounting systems<\/li>\n
- Someone detail-oriented, organized, and naturally curious<\/li>\n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and with a team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Nice to have (but not required):<\/div>\n
\n- Experience in construction or project-based environments<\/li>\n
- Exposure to multi-entity or multi-currency accounting .<\/li>\n
- Experience with ERP systems or construction-related software<\/li>\n
- Bilingualism<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
