IT Infrastructure Generalist \u2013 (Hybrid) 3 Month Contract<\/div>\n

Overview<\/div>\n
We are seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Generalist to support core on\u2011premises and cloud infrastructure services in a collaborative, high-performing environment. This is a contract opportunity to provide coverage during a planned leave, offering meaningful, impactful work within a company known for its supportive leadership, strong teamwork, and excellent company culture.<\/div>\n
The ideal candidate is a technically strong infrastructure professional who enjoys working across a broad technology stack and contributing to continuous operational improvement. The role combines day-to-day technical execution with opportunities to collaborate across teams and help coordinate technical delivery when needed.<\/div>\n
Work Model<\/div>\n

  • Hybrid schedule: on-site and remote work<\/li>\n
  • Regular business hours within the Mountain Time zone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Role Summary<\/div>\n
    This role provides hands-on support across servers, virtualization, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, Azure infrastructure, and identity services. You will play a key part in maintaining the stability, performance, and security of IT systems while contributing to documentation, automation, and process improvements.<\/div>\n

    <\/p>\n

    Key Responsibilities<\/div>\n
      \n
    • Administer and support server and storage environments<\/li>\n
    • Maintain and troubleshoot VMware \/ vSphere infrastructure<\/li>\n
    • Develop and support scripting and automation solutions using PowerShell, with exposure to Infrastructure as Code practices<\/li>\n
    • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online and SharePoint Online<\/li>\n
    • Manage endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune (policies, application deployment, and compliance)<\/li>\n
    • Support Azure infrastructure and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments<\/li>\n
    • Administer Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ID)<\/li>\n
    • Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures<\/li>\n
    • Contribute to operational improvements and best practices<\/li>\n
    • Coordinate or support technical delivery activities as required<\/li>\n
    • Work within a ServiceNow-based ticketing environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      Required Skills and Experience<\/div>\n
        \n
      • Hands-on experience with server and storage administration<\/li>\n
      • Strong background in VMware \/ vSphere virtualization<\/li>\n
      • PowerShell scripting and automation experience; familiarity with IaC concepts is an asset<\/li>\n
      • Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online)<\/li>\n
      • Endpoint management using Microsoft Intune<\/li>\n
      • Azure infrastructure support, including Azure Virtual Desktop<\/li>\n
      • Identity management with Active Directory and Azure AD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        Nice to Have<\/div>\n

        • Strong team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration and initiative<\/li>\n
        • Experience supporting delivery coordination or small infrastructure projects<\/li>\n
        • Azure networking fundamentals<\/li>\n
        • Exposure to backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring tools<\/li>\n
        • Familiarity with security tooling such as Microsoft Defender and Conditional Access<\/li>\n
        • Understanding of ITIL practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          Certifications (Preferred)<\/div>\n

          • Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ\u2011104, MD\u2011102, MS\u2011102, AZ\u2011900)<\/li>\n
          • VMware VCP<\/li>\n
