Senior Geotechnical Engineer<\/strong><\/div>\n
We are currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a dynamic engineering environment working on large-scale infrastructure and resource-based projects.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
About the Role<\/strong>
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects across Canada and internationally, supporting initiatives in mining, hydropower, and water infrastructure. This role offers a mix of technical design, field involvement, and leadership, with occasional travel required.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  • Lead geotechnical components of projects (scope, budget, schedule) <\/li>\n
  • Plan, oversee, and interpret site investigations and laboratory testing <\/li>\n
  • Perform and review analyses (slope stability, settlement, bearing capacity, liquefaction) <\/li>\n
  • Design foundations, retaining structures, slopes, and ground improvement solutions <\/li>\n
  • Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and recommendations <\/li>\n
  • Identify geotechnical risks and develop mitigation strategies <\/li>\n
  • Support construction through site visits, reviews, and technical guidance <\/li>\n
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to team development <\/li>\n
  • Participate in client interactions and proposal support <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Qualifications:<\/strong><\/div>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Civil or Geological Engineering (Master\u2019s in Geotechnical Engineering is an asset) <\/li>\n
    • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada <\/li>\n
    • Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering <\/li>\n
    • Strong background in geotechnical design and project delivery <\/li>\n
    • Experience with:\n
        \n
      • Site investigations and reporting <\/li>\n
      • Foundation design and analysis <\/li>\n
      • Earthworks, dams, or embankments <\/li>\n
      • Tailings or water management systems <\/li>\n
      • Construction monitoring and project coordination <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
