We are currently interviewing experienced Millwrights<\/strong> for an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing plant located in Delta, BC.
The schedule is a continental 12-hour shift that rotates every 2 weeks<\/strong>. It is steady work and you will work at least 84 hours bi-weekly and receive OT on every pay cheque. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment and production machinery<\/li>\n
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime<\/li>\n
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and implement timely solutions<\/li>\n
  • Support installation, alignment, and commissioning of new equipment<\/li>\n
  • Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure operational efficiency<\/li>\n
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation<\/li>\n
  • Follow all health & safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements<\/li>\n
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards)<\/li>\n
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications:<\/strong><\/div>\n

    <\/p>\n

      \n
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Millwright<\/li>\n
    • Red Seal certification preferred<\/li>\n
    • Minimum Level 4 Apprentice (required)<\/li>\n
    • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment<\/li>\n
    • Open to candidates from various industries (manufacturing, industrial, food, etc.)<\/li>\n
    • Opportunity to obtain Red Seal within 1 year<\/li>\n
    • Must be able to pass a criminal background check<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Base Rate: $46.16\/hour (increases to $47.20\/hour in August)<\/li>\n
      • $2.11\/hour (general hourly premium)<\/li>\n
      • $4.00\/hour (night shift premium)<\/li>\n
