Qualifications & Experience<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  • 4\u201310 years of<\/strong> Product Development \/ R&D experience in food manufacturing<\/strong> IS A MUST<\/li>\n
  • Strong experience in CPG or food production environments<\/li>\n
  • Bakery or baked goods experience preferred (pastry, batters, fillings, etc.)<\/li>\n
  • Open to candidates with savory product experience with transferable skills to bakery<\/li>\n
  • Proven experience with plant trials and product scale-up is required<\/li>\n
  • Post-secondary education in Food Science, Culinary, or related field (international credentials accepted)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/div>\n
      \n
    • Develop and reformulate baked and frozen food products for retail and foodservice<\/li>\n
    • Create and maintain formulations, specifications, SOPs, and product documentation<\/li>\n
    • Prepare product costing, nutrition facts, and ingredient declarations<\/li>\n
    • Lead and execute plant trials independently, ensuring successful scale-up to production<\/li>\n
    • Conduct lab\/kitchen testing and troubleshoot formulation and processing issues<\/li>\n
    • Source and evaluate ingredients, packaging, and processing methods<\/li>\n
    • Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and certification requirements<\/li>\n
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, FSQA, Purchasing, Sales, and Marketing<\/li>\n
    • Monitor consumer trends and innovation opportunities to support product strategy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
