Assembler – Electrical<\/div>\n

Job Summary:<\/div>\n
The job of the Assembler – Electrical is to assemble panels, unit wiring of the machinery, test and troubleshoot. The Assembler – Electrical is responsible for fabrication of quality electrical panels, as well as the wiring of all full chiller or heat pumps. Unit wiring is both for power wiring as well as sensors and switch wiring.<\/div>\n

\u00b7 Hours: Mon-Thurs 7:30 am \u2013 5 pm, Fri 7:30 am \u2013 11:30 am<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Salary: $21-23 per hour permanent, full time, overtime as required<\/div>\n
\u00b7 After Probation Period:<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Flexible Group benefits Package (once probationary period is completed)<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Voluntary RRSP\/RPP with company matching up to 5% after 1 year employment (once probationary period is completed)<\/div>\n

Responsibilities and Duties:<\/div>\n
\u00b7Layout, assembly and wiring of electrical control panels and machinery wiring<\/div>\n
\u00b7Reading and interpreting electrical schematic drawings and specifications<\/div>\n
\u00b7Drilling and cutting holes for electrical power devices and instrumentation<\/div>\n
\u00b7Mounting and wiring of electrical devices, motors and instrumentation in the machine<\/div>\n
\u00b7Ability to troubleshoot electrical panels and rectify issues<\/div>\n
\u00b7Properly use tools and equipment to assemble components into panels<\/div>\n
\u00b7Following strict methods and procedures<\/div>\n
\u00b7Keep equipment and working area organized, clean and safe<\/div>\n
\u00b7Route wires\/cables through machine chassis and terminate at terminal strips<\/div>\n
\u00b7Work independently as required<\/div>\n
\u00b7Assist co-workers as needed to complete projects and assigned tasks<\/div>\n
\u00b7Ensures safe work practices of equipment are used at all times<\/div>\n
\u00b7All other tasks as required<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Qualifications and Skills:<\/div>\n
\u00b7Minimum two years of experience in wiring electrical panels<\/div>\n
\u00b7Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic schematic diagrams<\/div>\n
\u00b7Excellent communication both written and verbal in English language<\/div>\n
\u00b7Must work well with others within a team environment and individually<\/div>\n
\u00b7Ability to organize work under tight project deadline constraints<\/div>\n
\u00b7Ability to use hand and power tools<\/div>\n
\u00b7Laying out and mounting components to panel back plates<\/div>\n
\u00b7Keeping work station clean and fully stocked<\/div>\n
\u00b7Must be detailed orientated and strive to build a quality product<\/div>\n
\u00b7Excellent hand\/ eye co-ordination<\/div>\n
\u00b7Knowledge of refrigeration circuits\/plumbing is an asset<\/div>\n
\u00b7Mechanical assembly aptitude<\/div>\n
