world class precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies that use sheet metal cutting, forming, machining, welding, assembly and paint. <\/div>\n
We are looking for a Saw Operator to work in Production Department. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating saw machinery, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to safety. <\/div>\n
Responsibilities <\/div>\n
    \n
  1. Set up saw machines and make necessary adjustments for each job <\/li>\n
  2. Install stops or guides to specified lengths <\/li>\n
  3. Operate saw machines, monitoring for defects or issues during operation <\/li>\n
  4. Use measurement tools to ensure product accuracy <\/li>\n
  5. Assist in packing and transporting finished pieces <\/li>\n
  6. Accurately complete job-related paperwork <\/li>\n
  7. Support team operations as needed <\/li>\n
  8. CNC and drill experience considered an asset <\/li>\n
  9. Experience working with steel, mills, and drills preferred <\/li>\n
  10. Work overtime and shifts as required <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    Education and Experience <\/div>\n
      \n
    1. Prior work experience in working with sheet metal <\/li>\n
    2. High school or equivalent <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      Key Competencies <\/div>\n
        \n
      1. Responsible and reliable <\/li>\n
      2. Stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of work day <\/li>\n
      3. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and crouch <\/li>\n
      4. Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including regular lifting and carrying of 5-23 kgs <\/li>\n
      5. Ability to use hands to reach and to handle or feel <\/li>\n
      6. Manual dexterity in hands for tool usage <\/li>\n
      7. Ability to visibly inspect product <\/li>\n
      8. Will be trained on crane\/hoist and\/or forklift as required <\/li>\n
      9. Work well under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment <\/li>\n
      10. Good interpersonal skills; customer focused and a team player <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        Salary and Benefits <\/div>\n

        1. Wage: CAD 18\/ hr \u2013 22\/ hr (negotiable Depending on Experience) <\/li>\n
